JB 500
First of all a big thanks to Xr Cass and Inver for doing a great job of leading and sweeping over the two days and Helen for being our support car driver.
Another great ride to put down in the memory books and the best part of it , was riding with a great bunch of guys for two days with lots of laughs on the way and the beers at the end of day 1 ride. The black gutless sand track out of Moore River lived up to its reputation with everyone happy to miss that section on the way back. Lots of sand tracks with sections of limestone rock to keep you on your toes. Also playing around in the dunes was a hoot. I reckon the beach this time was softer in most sections making the bikes work a bit harder but still other sections where you could fairly hook along. There was also a few spots along the beach where there was no beach, as the water line was right up, so that made it fun getting around, just ask Inver and Jersey Boy next time you see them.
With two days of riding and a night at the pub there are too many good stories to be told. You will have to come next year to find out for yourselves what the JB 500 is all about.

Cheers Dazza

JB 500 was better than expected. I thought Saturday was even better than Friday although we were feeling those beers. The extra easterly bound ground we covered on un-sealed roads was well worth the effort when coming through Moore River at a rare, perfectly ridable level. Once again I found more areas in my "local" riding area -win win. Big thanks to every one, you know who you are and big thanks to Petroleom Cass for sparing me some fuel as I think the 300 was extra thirsty on the beach which resulted in a cheeky tow from Cass's fender rack and a sleek roll into Cervantes Servo.
All ready itching for another ride....
