Mickkal, Darin & the ever willing AG Eddie. Mick tried to preempt the rain gods but they weren't having a bar of it. It was hot, dry and dusty. Mick wanted to have a look at a few area's Tommy had mentioned (Congrats on your 2 hunjy Tommy) Some awesome terrain in and around the valley, some gnarly climbs that will be a handful in the wet. Plus a few RAAF planes came blasting through the valley about 500 feet below us. Mick and I swapped bikes for a short section, seriously different bikes to ride. We lost track of distance but we think about 80 kms all up, which was just right in the conditions. Thanks Mick for calling, leading and the cold beer at the end to quench the trail dust.
