Thanks for the ride at Metro yesterday worked out well sharing the lead with Darin and having Pounce as backup and cheers to Ross doing sweep all day.
I had my suspension upgraded a couple of weeks ago and it just needed a little fine adjusting so I asked JNR for some help and advice he fixed it up with a few turns of the clickers on the front and back well that started it everyone wanted theirs done he was at it the rest of the day it turned into JNR Simos suspension clinic
ROTD for all the help and advice from JNR
Tommy

Wow, that was a good day out on the bike today, I had a ball.

Thanks Tommy for calling the ride and sharing the lead with me, it took the pressure off me and I thoroughly enjoyed riding and being in the pack for some of the time. Also thanks to Pounce who pointed us in the right direction when we were not sure. Ross, I hope you were ok sweeping all day, thanks mate.

Slighter damper conditions would be the only improvement I can think of.
Darin

Thanks Tommy, Darin and crew for a great ride today. I've had my nana nap on the couch and I am still whooped out. Once again, Metro never disappoints in the whoops department !

Google has the following definitions for whoops, and both are applicable to today's ride.

Whoops:
Are a series of smaller (sometimes) moguls or hills in succession. The fastest way through these are to enter with enough speed to skip along the tops of the whoops. Scholars have confirmed this translates from Whoop-De-Dos.

Whoops:
Expressing mild dismay or regret

"Metro Whoops ! There's no other place like it "
Jack

Well called on today's ride Tommy & thanks for leading along with Darin throughout the day, Ross yr a legend for keeping us together in the sweeping duties, had a ball all day see you out there soon :)
JNR

Thanks for the ride yesterday guys Tommy Darin for leading and Ross in sweep.
Nothing like driving an extra 130km AFTER getting to the park spot then a lightning fast 70km on the bike of open dirt road and bitumen dodging retarded bogans who want to ride pit bikes and other pieces of junk on the wrong side of the road and kangaroos that had a suicide wish to get you warmed up... NOT! Was bloody freezing by the time I got to the servo. At least I got half a ride in in the way back for the first one of the season. Thanks JNR for the suspension tips and letting me try out your bike.
Now to get back to writing those lines...

I will not forget my motorbike boots

I will not forget my F*#CKING boots......

Well at least I am off sexty sex ride points, haha.

We had an incident on sat. that I think was worth mentioning.

Stop for our first regroup after lunch and hear the unmistakable sound of multiple gun shots in the close proximity. Gets the hairs on the back of your neck standing up, thinking you may be caught in some idiots crossfire.
The gunshots continued but we didn't have any other route options so proceeded forward with caution.

Come around a corner and there is a kid on his own who looks about 7-8 with and old blue motorbike. I go up to him and say "hey mate whats going on who's shooting" It turns out its his family and they are hunting feral pigs (gun shots haven't stopped yet) but I am feeling a bit safer standing next to the shooters kid, (probably didn't count for anything) Anyway the next thing we see one of these guys dressed in desert camo, stalking something and taking shots. I managed to get his attention and shouted, if it was ok for us to come through, he waved us on, we took off and felt a lot better once we had some distance on them.
