Sandgroper Saturday ride
The call went out from Inver for an OVT ride, only sand lovers need apply!
Players / Sand people, Inver, Cass, JB, Adam, and Jersey Boy. We met up at 8, by this point Jersey Boy had already lost his tool bag on route. After a bit of TLC for his 300 we were on our way minus Adam, for a 35km warm up loop. The day didn’t get much better for Jersey Boy, a bit more TLC required for the 300, and an altercation with a tree and he was out for the rest of the ride (Hope the wrist is OK) Back to OVT to pick up Adam with his new white KTM, a bit of deliberation over hand guards or not and we were off again for the 160Km loop! Some single track with a side of whoops and sand berms later and the munchies kick in. A quick refuel and a pie and we‘re off again, a few more whoops and some awesome berms down on the coast then the pub is calling Cass and I need to get back to entertain the kids, so time to head back. 195kms all up, great ride and I will sleep well tonight, just hope I can stand up tomorrow.
