"WA Day Blast"
Mickal, Ktmike, Jed the beater, Frankie, Too slow, JB, Hooters T'was a quiet long weekend after Saturday, with half the crew on Jacko's trip on the big bikes, and others tied up with family, Manjimup, and haircuts. But.... something happened around 3pm sunday and a wave of "# me too's " came thru. So Mickal and Eddie were swamped by another 6 of us. We met at the lakes at 8am along with about 10 of the Knights boys heading off on their own adventure. We drove out to the park spot and were booted up around 8:30. Micky lead us on a great 85km of mainly single track, a great work out and beats the gym by far. A couple of little hills but sandy single and pea gravel single were the order of the day. A few small front wheel wash outs, an over heated 500 rear brake/ torque converter, a 300 with a stuck throttle... ;-) and no other dramas. Back at the cars at 12:30, quick beer and the day was done- awesome! Thanks Micky great loop and cheers Jed and Mike for sweeping. Back to work Wednesday for me catch ya'll in a week, Oh yeah Capel.... get on board, it's a great ride. Ciao amico's        |
