Cheers to all those that posted messages or sent txt's or called. The Finke Desert Race is certainly one tough race and the conditions this year didn't help. Dust was a huge problem this year with little or no wind to blow the dust off the track, visibility wasn't the best in a lot of sections. Quite a few riders came off or hit other riders trying to overtake. But as trying as it was, the Finke Desert Race, is one that as soon as you pass the finish line and feel the sense of accomplishment, you want to get back out there and do it again. So I'm back again next year as I never quite achieved what I wanted, and now that I know what the Finke is all about, hopefully should be a much smoother exercise. So if you want to join me, now is the time to start thinking about it and give me a call if you have any questions. Inver and JNR will be able to help out as well as they did the Finke a couple of years ago and can give you the heads up.
