Jack, KTMike, JB, Hayzi, Hooters, Darin, Pounce, Tommy, Bunga, Ashman, Todd, MickKal, Jedd77 ‘‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all in the house was quiet. Ahhh Shit wrong story !!! Take 2 Ok so let me get the abuse and shame out of the way first. Yes I did call the ride and no I did not lead the ride for good reason, we all would have been walking back to the pub due to empty fuel tanks. MickKal stepped up to the lead role and as always puts on a bloody good ride with a great mix of everything so a huge thanks goes out to him. A little brisk changing into our ride gear at the start but once out on the tracks you could not ask for better weather and conditions. Darin took up sweep duties due to his rib injuries. I hope they stacked up ok for next weekends camp out mate and thanks for your great effort. A couple of faces in the group that are new to me but great to meet you guys and hope to see you again soon. Thanks for the smokes Hayzi and yes she could smell it on me and yes I did get in the shit for it ha ha. The new helmet looks the goods but feels as cheap as it cost, definitely time to wear ear plugs and order new goggles with vision aids as someone pointed out that only old people wear glasses. The same persons lime green colour coordination stands out in the pack. Old people use blue pills too from what I hear is the word on the street. Anyhow a 90 km loop with a couple of stops along the way for a regroup and a bit of rape and pillage of Pounces bike before he limped back to finish early. No stacks along the way but some good tight rocky stuff to to throw me around and make me feel my age today. I think ride of the day goes to MickKal for keeping a fast flowing ride with a nice return time to the pub for the $15 lunch special. Thanks everyone for turning up and look out Wokky camp out next weekend and commiserations to those who will be working, you know you will be jealous. Bunga.             |
