Ride report – No Warm Up

Players: KTMike, Darin, JNR, Jacko, Mash, and 2slow

Great ride on Mike's turf thanks Mike for the lead and Jacko for sweeping. It only took me about 1km to have a little lay down and at about 2km's Darin stops and says "I can smell oil" there was a quick diagnosis of oil leaking from the engine oil filler cap and an inspection found the o-ring was missing. Super Sweep Jacko leaps into action, "I've got some electrical tape we will just use it as thread tape and it will be right" and it was. We rode a good variety of tracks and terrain with almost no dust at all and it was not too hot and not too cold. Mike thought he'd show us how slippery the clay can get and did a thump slide pirouette but all good a brief pause and we were on our way again.
Good to meet Mash (Trent) who rode well and did everything Mike threw at us with ease.
Sorry about the speeding fine JNR the cops/multanova have always loved that strip of highway. That's karma for trying to fill me in.
See you on the next one.
Dave.
Thanks KTMike for inviting us into your playground, some different terrain to what we usually ride, which is good.
I am generally a slow starter who likes to work into it, but today it was fire the bike up and head straight up a gnarly hill. How many more K's have we got to go - haha.
Everyone back at the cars for a few beers is always a good day.
Thanks to Jacko with the broom on his adventure bike and for the instant O ring for my bike 
Darin
great ride today from ktmikes place. the first few ks was a bit of a rock farm but after that we did mainly single trail with nice moist trails and no dust. not much carnage except for mike going down heavily on a greasy patch on the way back. we were on the lights after the ride with dave getting two rbts in a row, but this time it was jnr's turn to be a cop magnet. thanks to ktmike for putting on a great ride and getting stack of the day.
Jacko

Awesome day out, all home safe for beers and BS after the ride.
KTMike
