Tommys March adventure ride to Pingelly

Tommy called an adventure ride, limited details, adventure all the same. After a few days of rain and a mild weathered day ahead of us the conditions looked favorable. We set out at an Gentlemanly 0830 from the Sawyers Pub en route to Pingelly. The trails were as expected wetted down and little dust, a few off the map (side) tracks proved exciting seldomly used trails, heading the crew in the right direction toward the final goal. After 160kms of dirt we finally meat the black top for a relaxing 25KM cruise into town for all those with balanced wheels. After a refueling stop, we meet at the local pub for a lunch and a few re-hydration pints and a yarn. Heading off after lunch proved more blacktop to the beloved dirt, where the pace was noticeably quicker, also noted was the now dried out trails and dust. Along the way a few players decided to cut it short and head for home leaving 4 players heading for Sawyers where we arrived at 1700ish. A few enjoyed a beer to wrap up the day, talk shit and ready themselves for the next assault on the dirt. Many thanks to Tommy for creating and leading the ride, 400KMs covered from Sawyers to Sawyers, more for those who rode from home. Nice new ride Pounce, leave it to you to spread the word.
