Ride report : 2 Sandgropers & Eddie

Riders : JNR, Inver & Eddie

Well at Hooters 50th Inver & I wanted to hit the sand like old times as we were on break together for a change so Inver made the call to meet up at the OVT so I jumped on it as I haven’t ridden the 350 in ages & wanted to try out the new tubliss system & of course the old faithful Eddie made a appearance to join in.

We geared up & set off at a very very nice pace into the heat & dust, I had to keep back a bit as I had a few close calls putting in the chase & decided to bring it hm with no injuries.
Inver has had Steve tweak his suspension up & seems to like it & the bike rides quiet nice so we had a little swap of bikes for a play.

Quick stop at the servo no fuel needed just to rehydrate & off we went again, a few small stops but I said let’s keep moving as it’s bloody hot but we did have a good rest as we came across 2 riders as they stopped for a rest & a chat to see witch way we & they where heading so we didn’t run into them over a hill but once one rider took off their helmet Inver & I was thinking the same thing......Damn she’s smoking hot but what she doing with that bloke?

So off we went back towards the servo for fuel & water, I drank a fair bit of water & forgot that on the way back to the pub the whoops are everywhere so it took me a little while to settle back in.

120kms up & done by 1.30, I had a pint Inver had a solo as he said he’s still suffering from Saturday, excuses excuses, poor old Eddie was buggered & had a pint of ice.

Thanks for the ride guys & I do like these tubliss systems so far.
