Inver, Dutchy450. XRCass Time to get off me bum and go fir a gentle blat. Inver called an Ovt ride so I recruited Dutchy450. sent acid gloves to the sin bin and rolled up at the desig time. Bit warmish so we stuck to the shade of the pines and for something different marked out a 12km loop that’s not half bad. I’ve never been one fir riding round in circles but this was kinda fun. Will do it again. We bumped. Into an old fella on a young bike. Apparently 2-strokes are fuel injected now. Wtf? Anyway this guy (Marty) knew some CQ from a while back (Marty Moose?) and had been riding with CQ a while back too. All good so left him to finish the run In period on his new smoker ( did I mention that it was fuel injected ?) and we headed off into the dust. A few corners were missed here and there but the tracks are good and fun was had. Getting hotter so pitstop at yanchep servo - yes it’s still there - and call it quits before noon. A quick run down the sandy firebreaks to the Ovt of course before stumps. A few plans made fir a return visit and maybe some timed laps ... |
