Dwelly Elbow Bump ADV ride

Riders Tommy, Pounce, KTMMike, MickKal

Tommy’s plan was to do a ride down to Pounces new neighbourhood, so the starting point was set as the Karragullan Puma servo (because The Rock is now someone’s house). Pounce rode up from Waroona and he only left home 10 minutes earlier than I did from Kingsley so not much difference there. We all did a Covid Safe Elbow bump rather than a hand shake and then set off.

We started off through the usual trails but now with a bit of moisture around they were an absolute pleasure to ride. No whoops just lots of cruisey leaf covered trails. As we got closer to Dwelly we got into a section of single track that was new to me and it looked like it might be worth an explore around there to map it out later. Had lunch in Dwelly then did a quick southern loop around the river, As we got close to Waroona Pounce Peeled off and went home and the 3 of us that were left decided to take the easy option home and went by Scarp road to Jarradale, where we all split up and went our separate ways. Thanks to Tommy for a good day out and the great tracks, the only down side to the day was that we couldn’t have a beer at the pub afterwards.

On a side note the Puma servo at karragullan looks like it has a good parkup area at the back which might be useful now that the Rock Inn is closed.
