Todds 100th
Fantastic ride today, near perfect conditions with a good fast flowing track some good technical slower stuff and some hill climbs thrown in to top things off, 1 swollen below the knee injury but could have been much worse taking on a big log. Huge thanks to Mick for leading and Mike for sweeping. A big turn out of 17 riders. It’s amazing what happens when a post is added to FB.
Thanks to all who showed up, look forward to the next one. Bunga Great trails today Mickkal, A combination of tight single and open flowing with a few fun hills thrown in for good measure. 17 riders In total with no major incidents all returning to the car park Safe and ready for a beer. Just over 100kms in total, clocked on JNRs coughing bike. It was great to catch up with everyone again, together with a few new faces amongst the rabble. Congratulations on your 100 rides Todd. Cheers, KTMike Yeh awesome ride yesterday MickKal with 17riders & throwing everything in to pls all, no major offs or bike troubles & all newbies did really well & was prepared for the unknown & that made things flow faultlessly ;) Congrats to Toddy on the 100th and thanks to KTMMike who brought up the rear all day & that was me coughing not the bike ;))) it tastes better than diesel, when I go to the dentist tomorrow to fix the crack tooth he might get high on fumes too. JNR Great ride yesterday plenty of variety in the trail and a good bunch of riders. Well organised and run without a problem, the cornerman system ran like clockwork. It was the longest ride that I have done on the Beta, and the longest ride that I have done since Northcliffe. Must be why I am still tired. Biggles Great event yesterday MickKal, when you get 17 bikes turn up it becomes an unofficial race and gets the adrenalin pumping. Plenty of bar to bar racing going on with JNR and Eddy, both fricken awsome riders to watch battling it out. Thanks to Biggles and Mike for saving my ass and provide the tool required to siphon more fuel into the two banger, in the end it still ran out of fuel with 1km to go, so out came the tow strap. Onya Todd in getting 100 rides in 11 years and only 1 STOD on Tigers 100 ride. Jack Another great Crusty ride (never been on a bad one) thanks Mick for Leading (always great tracks) and Mike for sweeping,,Beers in the sun at the pub was a treat, thanks for the Congrats,,top blokes,,always good fun,,,cheers Todd Congrats to Todd on his 100th ride, thanks to Ross for dropping it just as I pulled the camera out, cheers to Mike for rounding up the herd at the rear and commiserations to Jack for the crushed pipe which looked like it might be a major pain to the hip pocket. It was a ride that suited the 500 and I had a blast on some of those flat wet open sandy trails in near perfect conditions. We also crossed over a couple of more new singles yesterday so we definitely need to pencil in an explore ride in the near future. Mick                                |
