Drowned 4X4
riders- mystery man, dorian, jacko.
mm was keen to ride on saturday so i joined in and dorian as well from the fb page. driving up through the chittering valley there was fast flowing water every where and julimar was the same. a lot of the single track was underwater but mm did a great job of finding alternatives. we come to a low spot on a fenceline with a puddle the size of a footy oval where we were entertained by some 4wds. the first one came across, a lifted gu patrol with a proper snorkel no worries. then the second was a standard hilux with a plastic snorkel. water over the windscreen and bonnet then it started to splutter and just got the front wheels out before it died. we found our way around the puddle to where the third car was waiting and carried on to some more single trails before heading back to the carpark for a beer and chat.     |
