“north dandy single track candy”
Hooters, Frankie, Kenny, Juddy, Kerian & Conrad ( absent - Mickal) Mickal called a Tuesday ride and a few of us jumped on. Unfortunately Mick had a DNS due to an extremely loose bottom end…… So Frankie and his mate Juddy took us around some fine single. Conditions were perfect actually no dust - I’m not even changing the filter, happy days. The first part of the ride was nice single a couple of snotty down hills but just nice cruisey trails.Frankie had a small off but landed on a rock an copped it in the ribs, short break an the 1970 model was good to go. Kerian run outta water and Conrad was pretty new to a 2 banger so they hit the abort button an shot back to the cars before things took a sharp left turn to knargly, a couple of rocky snotty hills an jump ups for about 20 mins just to finish us off. Short stop for repairs Kenny had a drive chain joiner circlip flick off- one in a million but it happens. I use the Pikey method an smear sicka flex over the clip, seems to work. Frankie was starting to feel 52 so we took the easy option back to the cars, still mainly single but pretty open an quick. Back at the cars at about half one. Frankie looking a bit second hand and Kenny helped him load the bike. I reckon sneezing won’t be much fun for a couple days…Great mid week ride cheers Frankie and Juddy an Kenny for sweeping Ps flat tyre on Ute for hooters on way home |
