Lano - Cervantes
Seven Crustys turned out along with three new guys for a blast up to Cervantes and back. Deets rode lead and Col rode sweep. It was great that KXSteve has seen the light and finally climbed aboard a 4 stroke. Steve was heard saying that it was the fastest ride he has ever had. LOL
Morey picked up rider of the day for showing some good skills all day and also for having a close shave. He got airbourne over a small dune on the beach in top gear, the back end kicked him in the arse, threw him sky ward and he was very lucky to recover. Good save buddy. This was also Morey's first Cervantes run. Grant rode near the front of the pack most of the day. The only complaint from the fellows is that when you try to over take him, he is all over the show. One of the new fellows, KTMSteve picked up SOTD, coming down hard with Grant crashing into the back of him. He bent a few bits and pieces but came out uninjured. Tiger rode up the back with Col most of the day with his bike bucking all over the place. Get the suspension looked at mate before it kicks you off. The two other new fellows, the father and son team of Mick and Ranga came on the first Wedge ride on matching CFR's. They are not virgins any more. Craig rode steady on the new KTM. It was a little hard to see him today wearing his full Camouflage FOX outfit but I spotted a KTM doing cornerman duty without a rider on it so that must have been him.
