Once upon a time, a funny little English Telly Tubby named Twinky Winky and a funny little Irish Umpa Lumpa named Bling Bling were playing quietly on a bright yellow Telly Tubby slide at Twinky Winky's house when Twinky pushed Bling too hard and he slid down the slide very fast and landed hard on the ground. "Wipe those tears from your eyes" said Twinky, but Bling just kept on crying.

"You are such a horrible Telly Tubby" said Bling. "You know I'm only little and can't reach the ground at the end of the slide".

Very soon the crying had stopped and the boys were busy taking turns pushing each other again. Twinky Winky got stuck half down the slide and it started to bend in the middle. "Don't worry" said Bling, "your Telly Tubby slide should be able to carry a few more kilos than that" but alas, the slide snapped and it was Twinky's turn to have a cry.

Both boys wiped their eyes and packed up the toys and went home to play and have a biscuit and some cordial. I bet they both can't wait to play together again.

Ride report - I suppose we should have one of those as well.

A bunch of guys turned out for a dust ride around the Pines. What can I say, I hate the Pines. Big Col went over the bars to pick up SOTD. The new guy Frank picks up ROTD for dragging the Quaka around the thick boggy sand and doing it well. Grant picked up a flat and it took for ever to get the axle out and the tyre off and on. The end.



SEVEN MECHANICS AND IT STILL TOOK 45 MINUTES TO CHANGE THE FLAT. WOLFIE SAYS IT WAS THE HARDEST TYRE HE HAD EVER TAKEN OFF A RIM. MIND YOU, IF THE AXLE WOULD HAVE COME OUT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A BIT QUICKER.
