WaynoVB and Mick530 (both on 530s) called a ride for Wokalup, a favourite haunt of theirs to share with us the magic trails and hilly, rocky country that they ride quite a bit. Its Waynos first lead and he sweatin a few bullets about it all (you leaders will know about that).about 5 or six riders will be fine he thinks..and 14 turn upso that makes 16 in totalto put the pressure on.

Its a nice crisp morn.a wind blowin from some directionmakes it pretty chilly waiting at the spot. Weve had a good bit of rain in June, hit the average would you believe it (albeit a declining average), so we know its gunna be muddy and wetall good. I tell my mate Dave (on his brand spanker TTR) if he wants to make friends, roost often and as much as possibleespecially if you see that bloke Billybob on a corner. Im joking but Dave is keenyepyep. Actually try to sabotage the big fellathe old kink in the fuel hose tricklet him kick for a whileeven Slade gets out the aero start outgives big barks out the back until we find the problemand then shes away.

Other new Dave owns a pub so hes doesnt have to roost anyone. Chris de Bergs 570 has companyDaves done the Safari on his 570, has a chin wag to Jack about itToddy chips inhis bikes done a few Safaris. Chris de Berg still has the trickest bikewith skulls on itwith tomahawk rocks flying out the back of it.

So were off and its sweet.big hills, muddy bog holes, bike sized rutts. If youre not creating the carnage..avoid the carnage. Pick alternative lines is the name of the game. Tommy knows all about it I pass going up a hill, get it all messy, right in front..f*n disgraceful, lack of respect, if you are gunna pass better nail it and make it a speccy. Micks nailin his standup monos, plus generally killin it, the old man is leading like a championnice flow and he knows where hes going. ROTD to Wayne for first ride call and a good one. Good job to both.

Dave knows more about momentum than anyone elsehes rippin that TTR around the place.despite years since being on a dirt bike for the record 8 stacks and bent bars, wrecked front fender. Good job Davesee you out this weekend. Ktmshaun rides sweetstays on..so does Ross on ole blue faithful.

Despite Daves effortstack of the day to Billybob. Right behind and viewed this onetoo fast down one of those steep muddy downhills. Nice and wide so he opens it up.slams into the cammo culvert, big highside and a trip over the barsone leg anyway. Lest we forget Bills nuts.smashed. Layed on the ground for a while. Later sought relief in a freezing creek.

Good to meet Carlo and WRRob. Carlos been watching the tour de francecomes to Drakeys pub in bike shorts (foam padded), perhaps Bill could take a leaf out of his book. Robs knee seems to hold up, cheers for sweeping. Jacko is a LEGENDknows how to mix this sport with longevity and nails every hill. You watch him pick his linesWell done Jacko on the 50th. Heres to many more.

Im givin it some berries though a nice tight fast section, some rough stuffthe Kato sucks it upbut I can hear a pipe right behind metake a corner.bloody Toddy cruises past gives a wave Harley style. Good run through there fella.

Wayno and Mickthanks best ride in ages. Be there again with all sometime soon.
