Mick & Tommy - The Double Ton
Players: Pounce, Jacko,Husq Mike, Tommy.Mick450.WRRoss,FT Allan,WRSteve.KTM Sean,Clean Man,Azza,Dazza M & for a while Martin.
Rarely do we get such a momentous occasion when two Crusty’s reach the milestone of 100 rides on the same day. 13 turned up in the hills to be part of the event.Pounce leading and Clean man sweeping. We had a Southener from Bunbury way to see what we do up here.Dazza M (I hope I have that right).Good to have your company. We took off East into the sun and I know one person was riding Braille.I hope It was not just me having trouble. The classic old school section never fails to deliver a good ride.I had Mick 450 in my video sites. Something to show the missus what he does with the boys.First minor hiccup –Sean has rear brake trouble.(We think he now has so much power with the KTM, that the brake is on all the time to slow it down).Problem solved and on our way. We linked up a lot of great tracks and tackled some great gnarley hills.I would say the last rocky tracks before lunch has to take the cake. Lunch at the Lakes for a breather, then back into it. At this point we said goodbye to Martin and now we were 12. Pounce not only starred as lead , but also managed stack of the day.(Missed it ,I can’t have the video everywhere).Then to top it off a nasty stick decided to attack his boot.Luckily just a flesh wound. As ride reporter I nominate Azza as rider of the day , as he successfully got to the top of Mongrel Hill.It was a very physical effort and does deserve credit. Clean man - thanks for sweeping. Luckily the ever reliable Husky did not need your tool kit this time. By the way just go and buy the smoker (its only money). I am hoping to post some good videos so watch out for youtube Husqm 1.
