This one time, on Micks ride...
Talking to Mick last weekend, he was in two minds about a ride for Saturday.
Well after a couple of phone calls from people he again put his hand up & led what can only be described as a typical Mick Ride. So... This one time, on a Mick ride! 13 riders with 2 noobs showed up. Only WR Rob made it up the hill, while several others put in a good effort Rocks & pea gravel are totally different to sand. Still not enough rain has fallen to bring out the best in the trails. While the KLX might be a good bike, it can't beat a tree. You sacrifice your KLX to save yourself from being hurt. Old XR400's do fall apart but can be fixed with zip ties. 8 out of 13 bikes did have a lie down at one stage. When hitting a jump on the trail, make sure no trees are in front of you. While the EXC-R might be a good bike, it can't beat a tree either. You sacrifice your right arm & shoulder to save the EXC-R Xr400's do only need 3rd gear Blonde chicks look OK getting changed.                          |
