CRF Jason and I (and Acid Gloves) head out from the OVT across the main road for the normal woops warm up, we see Buttsy walking. Sorry Buttsy I just heard you say something to Jason about phoning your wife so I figured you had major breakdown problem so followed Jason when he took off down the track. If I had known it was just fuel I could have saved you the long walk. I had a bottle of petrol in the car at the tavern. Any way after the first bone jarring section we got into some nice tight single tracks some I had done before and some new ones ,really good .Few hill climbs as well(one of which gave me a bit of trouble) and my favorite run across the ridge top. A quick stop at the servo and then the mad dash for the tavern the skimpy was calling. Jason stopped to wait for me half way though the bad woop section ,taking a little longer to catch up than usual he came back and found me cable tying my exhaust tail pipe back on because the bracket had broken off the frame and the pipe had fallen off. So thinking the cable ties wouldn’t hold up to the track back to the OVT I took the main road .Jason trashed it back through the woops and we got back at the same time. Then it was two nice jugs of Pure Blonde served by the gorgeous skimpy Pure Blonde with the nice……teeth. Sorry no photos. Boys I recommend you be there for the next Friday Skimpy Run. It’s all good. |
