the un named ride...

4 Riders turned up starting at the OVT CRFJason, MickKal, Jonesy450 and his friend This was my first ride with the Crustys so CRFJason generously nominated me to do the ride report. I mentioned to Jason that my fitness level may not be so good and taking this into account Jason led us at speed through about 5klms of deep rutted sand woops which confirmed my suspicion. After that the ride was great, we went through some tight wooded single track, some more open faster areas and then we stopped at the Yanchep servo for a cool drink. On the way back we headed towards the beach for some hill climbs and a bit ocean scenery. Jonesy and I both fell off a couple of times and I accidentally ran over Jasons foot when he stalled it on a hill just in front of me. Jonesys friend was feeling a bit off so he headed back along Marmion on the bitumen, and the remaining three of us headed back to the OVT to load up and then have a couple of coldies. Had a great time and will be looking forward to ride #2. |
