Some ride - no description
Ride report for Friday:
Good one Ash for those photos and the ride, . Living the dream there Ash! 3 riders rocked up Ash, Nathan and Acid Gloves Eddy. Basically we had 3 KTM riding at full noise up, down and around some fantatsic hills that were so steep, that one rider fell back down one into a bush (Me) Day started off great with the riders coming accross some different tracks to the norm; better old-school tracks. A ramp was found, only Nathan went over it after backing out a few times, it had a really steep take off! From there we continued on to beach sand tracks and Ash complained a bit about the corners depsite seeming to hold his own. It seems a common thing, the Ex-pats take a little while to enjoy the powder white sand, feeling more at home on the hard-pack. Despite all this the fellas were fairly evenly matched, and only the sweep rider seemed to get to much dust. After a stop at Yanchep servo the 3 of us headed to some Pine forrest after dodging some STUPID emus. It seemed all the burning off excited the wild-life with the lead rider Nathan having to also slow down for some Kangaroos, which included one big "boomer" The ride was a big one, we ended up doing 89km's which ended up with some beers and a chin-wag before driving safely home. |
