first ride for 2013
ride report for tommys call, first ride for 2013.
riders- tommy, ross, jacko. tommy put up a friday arvo post for a saturday morning ride so why not, ross joined in and we met up at the rock inn and headed out to the parking spot. i thought it might be hot and dusty but it wasnt bad at all. with only three riders it was easy to keep out of the dust. tommy found lots of good trails and a couple of good hill climbs as well.no offs, but a close one by me when i hit something on the track and nearly lost it. we got to the top of the second hill and stopped for a rest and my bikes electrical system went totally dead. no power to the switch, fuse ok, couldnt find the problem, then it all just came back to life, so we put it all back together and got going. that was very lucky because when i got home and tested the wiring properly, i found the harness connecter to the fuse was completly corroded away. back at the cars we met some guys with a couple of vintage husky 390 mx bikes, cool, see tommys photos. thanks tommy and ross for another great day in the bush. 25/Jan/13 6:03 pm     |
