It rains in Autumn
Twas a late call, but the bike was chomping at the bit for a spurt in the dirt.
Even though it was the first dust free day this year,only three players rolled up (everyone getting too old?). In one, word.Perfect .The tracks were all damp, quite a few large puddles and the occasional greasy spot. All in all we covered 101 km's , no off's of any consequence. We gave the old rocky hill a run and had three successes. We showed Mick the mighty one hill next door. He gets 10 out of 10 for trying,but like many before him,the hill won. Jacko and I decided that we would try another day. Back just after 1.30 and luckily Mick had thought to bring a couple of beers. Thanks Mick and Jacko for a enjoyable ride today. |
