Woki one for 2013
Riders; waynovb,Mick530,Tobz450,jace,Kickers.
ROD;NA SOD;NA 5 riders met up for the 1st Woki blast of the year. 3 regulars plus jace from the CQ site and Tobz mate Kickers. Driving in there was a bit of dust but not too bad. Next there's a bunch of pissheads camping in our parking area. Turns out I know one of them and he says were good to make as much din as we want and add to their hangovers. Job done, their all up so we head off and leave them in peace. I start leading with Mick sweeping and head into the hills for some single track. First time out in a while so a bit of arm pump going around. Dust not too bad. After the first rest Tobz mate Danny's battery is flat so he has to resort to the leg(not good) or stopping on hills for the rest of the day. Formally gets name changed to Kickers. Although there are a few good size pools of water around the soil/gravel was still a bit loose. A few nasty ruts have vanished and a few new ones appeared since last time. Half way thru I'm a bit tired so Mick takes over leading whilst I sweep. With a small group all moving at a good pace and 2 boys on reserve we head back to the cars. Just over a hundred Kms and I felt a 100 years old. No one was too keen for another session as its starting to warm up so we call it a day and have a beer. A good ride, no real offs and nice to meet jace and kickers.
