saturdays ride report.
tommy put his hand up again to lead another great hills ride and with all the rain through the week the conditions were perfect. agood mix of tracks and lots of very slippery mud laying on top of the sand to catch us out. i saw andy400 have a lay down right in front of me and i almost joined him on the ground.i saw andy have another lay down in the mud when he fell off in a rut and landed in the other rut full of black muddy water. sorry for laughing andy but it was very funny at the time. the first of the hills caused a few offs with the rocks being very slippery. ross tried another route but had to double back and take the main track. he made it look easy. then we carried on to the unclimbable hills. we got over the first part to where the bad bit is and azza had a go and got about 100 metres up then andy also joined azza stuck in the ruts.good effort guys and great entertainment for the rest of us. some of the bikes were on reserve by now so we made our way back to the cars on some more great tracks with one bike needing a top up on the way,but we had done 140 ks by then. back at the cars and no one was putting ther hand up to do do the report, so i gathered up a bunch of sticks and got every one to take one.somehow i got left holding the short stick.thanks to tommy for his efforts and ross for sweeping. jacko.                                                |
