Andy called an OVT ride:

OVT 8.00 am Saturday. Don't know where yet but bring some money for fuel stops, lunch and a beer after. 100 - 240ks medium to hard. The more that post up intention to come, the bigger it gets. Any requests? NOR hills, The wiggles, time trial track, water crossings, swiggle creek?

Andy400, KLXPete, Nash (Goat), Andy KTM, Jacko (sweep), Vermo and FT Allen turned up to play in the sand.

Andy’s own words pretty much wrap up the days ride.

Frigging awesome ride today. Thanks Guys. Got some snaps and two videos, will post up soonish. Big thanks to KLXPete (or is that XRPete) for co leading and good to see ya back on a CQ ride, FTA a true star on a DR and the every knowing point in the right direction, Jacko for the best sweeping, Andy KTM for ROTD with jaw dropping hill climb attempts and success, Nash for making us old farts work hard, Vermo for adding that extra zing (check out the profile pic to follow), energy exploding from his very being.

Observations from the ride.

A ride with no flats and no debilitating injuries is a good ride.
KTM 500s are stronger than trees.
Wire can be found everywhere.
XR650s dig big trenches.
Sand does not necessarily mean dust.
Australian bush is sharp.
Having an ambulance follow the ride does not have to be a bad omen.
Whoops are there to keep the suspension well oiled.
Beer is good.

Thanks Andy400
