Jacko, Pounce & Tommy went for a ride.

Lovely day for a blatt.

Foot pegs are too high, don't grab handful of front brake as they work, seat's too hard, they go where you point them. All things different to an adventure bike.

Thought there would have been more of us but it was good only having 3.
Got to the parking spot & there's a tree across the track going into it, an omen for the rest of the ride.
I tell the other two where we're going & immediately lose them as I disappeared through the bush but they knew where to meet at the start of the single track.
What a blessing, seems like the crowd still haven't discovered this one as no one has been on it since our last ride it seems, so no whooped out sections here.
Now trees, why do they fall across the track when there is the option of many different directions? Throughout the morning, there must have been around a dozen new trees down. As Jacko said though, it keeps it interesting & on your toes.
We get about 50 klm's of this sweet unadulterated single track in (dodging trees) until we start heading into the more popular used area.
This single we rode last year has been turned into a horrible sandy whoopy piece of crap now & you can hear bikes everywhere. It's a bit unsafe in some spots as you're not sure if they're coming at you or heading away.
We may have to start heading deeper into the hills or further south to avoid a head on.
Only did a quick 85k's & finished around 12.
