DILLIGAF Tour Number 1 – Woky 28 June 14.

Great day out today with great conditions. Called a Woky ride and had 5 trusty riders answer the call.
jace, Daniel (Crusty’s call sign to be confirmed= Boonie), RJD, MalHingston, Antt and KtmShaun rocked up.

We had a great group today with plenty of hill climbs that everyone was willing to have a crack at. A few offs and a few times helping others over a few sections. We finally found a few hills that challenged Mal. I think Mal may be thinking of a new tyre for next week.

RJD threw his bike 3 metres or so on a hill climb onto a nice soft bed of pines. Great timing involved and I have never seen a bike thrown so skilfully and so far (3m throw uphill on a gnarly hill climb needs impeccable timing).

Antt did a brilliant job as sweep after getting back on the bike after 10 mths off, great job.

Thanks to Mal for filling me full of mud whilst I overtook him uphill and I had to change lines. Good fun.

Daniel was keen on spraying us all with gravel on the open sections. Quite impressive with his left to right sweeps at speed.

We had a great run early, and then we tried to find a hill climb over the other side of the road and lost 3 riders in the attempt. Next time we will get to that one.

Need to give jace a big wrap as he did a great job keeping us moving. Great work and we all appreciate it.

Antt, look forward to the pics. Hope to get the video of Daniel smashing that hill after the 2nd attempt or so at high speed, not sure if you got it but it was a good run.
