Junior called it, Junior, Tommy and Mick all did their part to the group for a very enjoyable days ride. I am not quite sure why we would want to ride elsewhere when there is such a diverse riding area right at our doorstep.

These trails are not for the faint hearted and the group travelled them like they were riding an enduro. The new guy Brodie riding the big DR780 threw it around without effort and rode it like a much smaller bike. Unfortunately he laid the bike down after the front wheel washed out from below him and ended up calling it a day earlier than the rest of us with a couple of broken bones.

I (Colin) also found myself with the bike on top of me riding up a gnarly hill and over stretched a hammy causing some pain and needing Mick450 to help. I also needed to call it a day early. Writing this report in bed the next morning the leg is still very sore!

Just keep calling rides fellas and then looking after each other out on the trail like you guys are so good at. The trails were sweet, the company great.

One of the best parts of t he Crusty's is that you can come back for a ride when ever you like. We had not seen Hazi in two years due to family commitments and kids riding but he fitted in like he had been out with the group every week.

A lakes ride with a right turn at the power lines instead of a left turn. A drive in through a pea soup fog and a respectable suit up time of 8.30. That ride will challenge Julimar as my favourite. It was heaps of fun and the creak run was like being on a roller coaster. It had a bit of everything and hardly a whoop to be seen.
We lost Mr 650 early with a wrist injury. Hope your ok mate.
Carnt believe the dust being kicked up already. More rain please. The ride was cut abit short by Cols hammi, Hazi's coolant leak and my fuel light on again....bigger tank on the way I promise.
So the 3 of us all headed back to the cars 1.00 ish with CM. Thanks pep and HM for fuel. $20/L was a bit steep but worth it ha ha. How did everyone else go in the arvo?

Saturday was my first time riding in the Lakes area, loved it. Nice mix of terrain. The gnarley hills with the boulders and the deep ruts widened the eyes and had the bum sucking on the saddle especially when the wrong line was taken, which in my case was often. Great fun. Thanks all for the good day out. Looking forward to the next one.
