Early call was a good call
“Early call was a good call”
Players: Jace, WrfPaul, Dazza and KtmShaun. Sat 6th. Called an early start to beat the rain on Sat. Just as well we did as the heavens opened up at about 10.30am down at Woky and we called it a day as we had already done a good couple of hours. Prior to that we had great clear conditions. We spent the morning on the other side of the road where we are finding some great new tracks and some great countryside. Dazza and I took on the gnarly downhill which ended up being ok and got the legs going. Decided to leave that hill climb to another day. Continued on around and found some good continuous hills and tracks. Jace and I stating it will be good to hit that section with a bit more speed next time now that we know the terrain. All the hills were relatively easy as the rain had not started so the normally heavy clay hills etc made for good traction. After a few hours we headed back to start the main section. It was only 20 mins into this bit when the rain started. It was actually good to see all the creeks and rivers flowing so well. On the way back the water flowed like veins down all the tracks. Great day to be out amongst it in the bush. Another hour or two would have been great but we still had a good run regardless. Good to see Paul out again and Jace and Dazza doing their thing.
