Rider of the day Nathan
Stack of the day Not awarded
Kev, Marty MOOSE and Nath gathered at the pines in the usual spot for an early ride as it was a hot day. We also had along some non crusties, Steve RMX, Brian KTM200, Graham and Andy WR250F, Leroy Husky WR400 and a mate of Kevs whos bike said NO.

First off we headed to the northern side of the ride area straight through the guts of the pines, dust was low and speeds were constant. Nath cruised along with a super mutant front tyre on the front, guess it was nicer on the road from Quinns to the pines area :) . The first drama of the day was losing Leroy at the first stop after the obstacle course at the quarry. Stylish KEV and the ever handsome MOOSE sacrificed much having to ride the whole course back to the cars to look for him :)

Once there Leroy was no were to be found. We started to plan our return trip to look more closely, at this point he rode into the carpark with Nath. This was a huge relief of the other gathered players as we envisaged him under a log all busted up thankfully he was ok.

The second ride went to the Southern side of the road carpark, twisting at great pace through the pines lead by a mighty girls bike (WR200). The much prized second spot was a race and various played occupied this spot, depending on small crashes and lack of dust afforded by the brilliant terrain selection. There was very little dust to be seen in the pines on top of the needles but stumps and logs were an issue for some. It got hot pretty quick towards the end of the day and the ride wound up about 10.00am.

Nath gets Rider of The Day for hanging in there with a motard front tyre. What a nutter :)
