Wedge
A group of 14 bikes and 2 4x4's took of from the OVT for a ride of a difference. Phil and Col took off in the 4x4's before the others with Moses and Bec following as Bec decided she might like our pace rather than that off the other 12 expert(looking) riders. A large bush fire turned us around after driving nearly 35 k's. We had to drive back 20 k's and pick up a track down to the beach and follow it along to Wedge.
The others were already there when we arrived and shortly afterwards, refueled and took off for Cervanties. The 4 x 4 's and a few of the bikes stayed back and set up camp on the beach for a BBQ, swim and a little beach riding. Robin, Loren and Julie all had a ride on Roleys bike and a few of the boys took Deets 525 for a rap up the beach. Jed said it was awsom - I said he should have changed gears!!! All the others turned back up a little disappointed that the fire had also stopped them from getting through to Cervanties. By now everyone was low on fuel. Deet filled his tank from Col's Suzuki so he could fuel anyone that ran out. BY the time the 4x4's caught up only about 5k's out of Lancelin, ATK Dave had come to a stop and a few k's further Gav was pushing the RM. All in all a great day.
