Calling the Blue Rinse Set... Stage 1
Bunga, Todd, Hooters, WR Rob, Husky Chris, DRZ Marcel, Bushwacker, Jace, Rudy, Martin

I called the ride from Wokalup earlier in the week to give everyone a chance to attend Sundays ride. In all we ended up with 11 punters arriving at Wokalup Tavern at 8 am to head off to the park up spot. Jace put his hand up to lead the mornings events and he did an excellent job putting everyone through their paces. Lots of single tracks with rocky pot holes and hill climbs to give us a few challenges. The weather was fantastic with a perfect amount of rain to make it nice and loamy and in some cases very slippery. After a few extended stops to regroup we had Bushwacker take the lead to put us through more hill climbs :(
I don't think my clutch has had a work out like that before but thankfully it is very forgiving as I am very limited in my abilities in the tight stuff as I think everyone at the top of a hill witnessed as I gave the little Berg a bit to much gas at the final stage of the climb and I stopped but the bike kept going doing a 180 degree backward flip landing perfectly at the top of the hill upside down without me attached to it thankfully. I guess some good entertainment value for the boys. From there just a short run back to the cars for a refuel and that is where my ride ended.
A very big thanks to Jace and Bushwacker for giving us some great trails and to those who took turns at sweeping, a great bunch of guys to ride with as always.
Ok Hooters I will hand over to you to continue the story about ride stage 2.

Part II
Calling the Blue Rince Set... Stage 2, Before I continue special mention should be made about "loopout hill" where Bunge looped his berg. I looped my new 500 twice and it left a mark on a tree about 8 foot up the trunk, and tried to kill me while sailing thru the air! Lucky I'm quick on my feet. I found a new low point in my life when "orange Bobby" offered to ride my bike up.... Paul also looped his 300 in spectacular fashion- nice little track cheers bushwacker!! The laughs continue. Connor, Bushwackers young bloke was with us all day as well, punting the 2 banger around all day. Right, so we got back to the cars about half eleven, fuelled up quick bite and back into it. Paul's (bushwacker) super gnarly trails had been awesome and we had only clocked up about 45km by this stage. Bunge and Rudy bailed and Bunge looked done in well done mate you completed the 2 day!! Todd took over the lead position and Paul dropped back to cruise for a bit and sweep. We were looking for a bit more open stuff and Todd didn't disappoint, room to pass each other now, game on! Connor had a bath an a nice wee trip over the bars to dry out, and copped a serve from Dad upon landing, tough gig this hanging wit the ole' dudes!! A few small crashes But nothing major as we carved up the tracks trying to keep up with Todd, great trails and a bit more open- high jinx everywhere! We clocked up about another 50km and got back to the cars around 3pm, albeit, minus a couple of cornermen and the sweep....WTF?? Orange Bobby came cruising back and found poor old bushwacker just getting to his hands an knees doing a very good impression of roadkill!! ( only bout 500 yards from the cars) Orange Bobby got him on his bike and back to the cars where medicinal carlton was applied, wondrously he perked up! But was looking fairly 2nd hand and he was on route to the medical center- bugger. Turns out he is ok, great news. We all had a few beers together while packing up and Todd Orange Bobby Chris and myself called in at Waroona for a feed. Great day out, a real example of crusty teamwork with everyone doing their bit an helping out. Ps I cut inside Marcel on a corner and made contact, looked over my shoulder and he's laying down under his bike having a rest- slacker hehe! Cheers everyone for the laughs Bunge and Bushwacker for sorting the ride, Todd for leading and everyone sweeping and helping out. Ciao
