Ride Report, Cruizy Woky Ride 01/08/2015
Riders: KyronM, DazzaM, DeepDirt, Todd, KTMShaun, Martyn, CleanMan, Juso, WRRob

Eight of us met at the Woky pub and we set off to the parking spot. KTMShaun met us there and because his phone told him the wrong time, he had forgotten his riding pants and jersey in a rush to get going, but he got lent some. We set off riding and were following DazzaM who was taking us on some tracks that he has ridden with another crew a few times. Some of the tracks we followed were from the last KTM Dirt Rally. We crossed the highway and headed towards a rutted hill climb that a few Crusties had been up before on another ride and quite a few got stuck. DazzaM, Todd, CleanMan, Juso and WRRob headed up first. I waited down the bottom because I saw DeepDirt laying at the top of the hill in one of the ruts with his bike just a bit further up the hill. From what we saw, it looked like his bike had looped out. Juso and CM went back to the cars, and Juso brought his car to the hill. In the meantime, we had to contend with another group of riders who were coming up on the track where we laid DeepDirt waiting for Juso to return. We took Lee back to Mornington road where the ambulance took him to Harvey and he was transferred to Bunbury hospital. After that, Juso lead the ride. He took us through some single trail, hill climbs, downhills, creek crossings and plenty of tracks. On one of the last hill climbs, I couldn’t make it up so I had to turn around and had another shot. It was tricky but not as hard as I previously thought. On the way back to the cars, DazzaM and Todd were doing wheelies. Todd did some pretty good ones, DazzaM tried to do a good one and he tried a little hard and nearly had some gravel for lunch. When we got back to the cars, we made arrangements for Lee’s car to be dropped off at the pub and WRRob to take Lee's bike back up to Perth.
Thanks to all the Crusties for helping getting Lee out and all the best to Lee for a speedy recovery and hopefully we'll see him back out again on another Crusty ride.
