cleanman called this ride and seven riders came along to the lakes roadhouse. we had a bit of rain along the coast but none made it up the hills. the usual good mix of tracks, hills and challenging bits. one hill being too big for most of us. I was sweeping as usual so I missed a lot of the action except for dynamax who was trying hard for stack of the day. his first one was a winner when he hit the ground hard and was winded and a bit dazed. not happy with that effort he tried again a bit later, but the best one was the last when his throttle cable jammed on at a tight bend and he was flung over two blackboys and the bike was skipping around on its side with the throttle jammed on. spectacular.thanks guys for another great ride.

Thanks gents for the ride today. It was a good way to christen the new ride. Thanks Rob for pointing me in the right direction when needed, and taking the lead for awhile.
I thought I was onto a good thing picking that track along the fence line until I got stuck on the rutted steep hill. Rob, Mike and Shaun went pass and made it up, but the rest of us decide to not temp fate.
Especially after I flipped the new bike. No real damage, just couple little scratches which means I don't need to put any more on it!!

Dynamax, hope you have a couple or three beers tonight to ease the aches and pains.

Cheers Jacko for the sweep duties.

Roll on next Sat and Sunday, long weekend :)

Wicked ride yesterday thanks guys, I had an awesome day and was well in the groove! A morning coffee with Pounce and having a few laughs must have set the scene. Great call Rob and well done leading. Thanks Jacko for sweeping. It's certainly starting to dry up with some dust around the edges yet orange mikey still managed to roost me and cover me in mud in the first 1 km of the ride a after he decided to park in the mud puddle waiting for an innocent victim and let the 300 roar to life pinging off the rev limiter dropping the clutch like he was practicing a motorcross start, leaving me having to wipe my goggles so I could see even a smidgen daylight. From that point forward I knew it was going to be a good day!! Not too far into the ride Rob and I determined I need to sack my mechanic after the front end was getting lose and wobbly with bolts about to fall out. While sitting at the top of a hill looking down at the carnage, the sun reflected and glistened off an extremely new and shinny bike as it did an impressive big back flip in the air with no rider then came crashing back down to earth on the rocky rutted hill. What a way to break in a new bike that came off the showroom floor only 10 days ago... Hahaha nice one Rob! Thanks for the rest of the crew as well, hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did!
