Mick450,
I tried the Asterisk but they were to bulky inside the boots, so I ended up taking the PODMX. I just tried them out on the Extreme Ride this weekend and it took until Sunday to get used to them.
First you feel like you can't get up on the tank but after a while and new learning how to ride with them they worked fine. They are the same design as the CTI Custom Knee grace.
Give me a call and I can let you know.

More photos up of A play in the sand ride.
Yes, Mick does deserve the ROTD. An oversight by the chaps on the ride not to post. Probably due to that there was no post ride meeting as half peeled off into Quinns at the end of the ride. Must have been good as I can still feel it.
Blew a pine cone out of my nose Sunday, must have been from the dust in the pines area. Nice !!

Mick sounds like a well deserved ROTD!
I have just ordered a medium Leatt Club neck brace from MotoCross Giant.Com USA. Costs US$395 + US$55 shipping the Sports model is another US$200! Even with the slipping exchange rate still way cheaper that buying here!
The Leatt only comes in two sizes Small + Medium. Go the Medium it has three size adjustments - if it fits Pete's neck it will fit the rest of us! LOL
BTO Sports + MX South both USA, sell not only the Leatt for US$395 but the EVS RC Evolution race collar for US$170 and the about to be released Alpinestars Bionic neck support for US$679.
Another site in USA is Dennis Kirk which is worth checking out depending on what you are shopping for but unfortunately they don't these neck supports.

Mick,
Another vote for the Asterisks. The PODS look good, but I think it'll take a couple of generations for them to match the Asterisks for features. Takes a few rides to get used to them. Check out the prices from the US.

I am thinking of buying knee braces. I know Hooters wears Asterisk and swears by them, does any one wear the POD knee brace or any other knee brace and what do you think of them.
Also maybe even a neck brace Leatt Club or Sport or any other brand.
Any Suggestions?????

Thanks again Mick and the boys for a demanding ride in the sand. Another dry ride again today hey Mick? HAHA
SOTD to me due to inexperience and a tree across the track, Thought i could lift the front wheel and hop over but no traction in the boggy stuff. Back end hit the log then hit me in the arse over the bars. The boys following thought it looked great but was really dissapointed I didn't stick the landing :-)
Take care Wrexy

Top ride Mick, a great Curry and view at Yanchep. Not enough sand whoops though, what we found were a bit small. Need to find about 30K more of those next time......
I don't feel too bad, but I am cramping up like crazy, Could hardly unload the car. Definitely won't be going to the gym tonight!!!!

I've read the Capel ride is an alcohol free event. Does mean a quiet drink around the bon-fire on Saturday night is not permitted.
