Trail Report: December 31st 2002

The year hasn't finished yet; just enough time for one more early ride. Tim426 was waiting at the start line getting into costume when Mik and JAW rock up.

"Is this it, just us three?" Mik asks. In the distance a voice shouts "I'm here!" and Dano comes out of hiding from the bush. Whatcha doin' there Dano? ;)

Mik has donned his new atire, santa had bought him some body armour and a new helmet. "About time too" say all the riders that know Mik's firstly open face helmet and then hand-me-down-two-sizes-too-big-face-cutter Lazer helmet.

With new found invincibility, Mik is not mucking around gettin' the two fiddy to the time trials. Now for anyone who has followed Mik they will know he is nice to ride behind. He doesn't kick up much dirt at all. JAW, on the otherhand pulling up the rear behind Tim426 and Dano is riding blind through a dust storm...

All players decide to put in some laps. Dano proves his supremacy with a lone 1:54 pass, Mik has a bit of cheaty fiasco cutting the u-turn wide resulting in a very tidy 1:55 - but the players let him keep it. Tim426 and JAW battle out the slow coaches brigade with Tim426 beating JAW out of three laps by one second.

Tim426 is outvoted 3 to 1 one doing Wolfies agility course. "C'arn Tim, it will be good for you."

The usual ungraceful stops eventuate with an especially comical set of stacks from Dano. Going hard over one of the notorious parts of the agility course he gets some air, realises there is a big drop and then a big diagonal hill, yells an expletive and drops it in the middle. Eventually he's got the KaTooM on its feet, and started, then drops it straight back down again the other way. Three stooges eat your heart out.
