Report by Brad

Another fine day presents itself and the CQ clan have embarked on another Lancelin-Cervantes off road run. After the usual car convoy to the beachside town of Lancelin, bikes are unloaded, riders are suited and booted and it's time to RIDE! A 4WD buddy of Kevs had driven straight to Wedge and is putting on a sausage sizzle feed for the boys, thanks heaps mate!

Kaboom!

Rob is video camera enabled and does a good dose of filming during the days ride, onya Rob! The run to Wedge is led by Kevin, on the way it is noticed that the tracks are a little different than normal, that's because were on the wrong ones! We are stopped about halfway by the Army dudes up there; What the hell are you guys doing riding around here! Were doing live firing excercises at the moment! Oops sorry lads, we are "escorted" out of the area by the army dudes in there Land Rover Defenders.

Boys in Brown.

From Wedge Is. It's straight to Cervantes a quick refuel and back to Wedge for our lunch. It's snags'n' bread all round, nothing like a good feed to compliment a day's ride. Simon has his "moment" on the run from Cervantes to Wedge and is in a fair bit of pain, but declines a lift in a 4WD back to Lancelin, choosing to complete the ride only to have another spill on the final leg of the days ride! OUCH!

Back at the carpark bikes loaded onto trailers, the boys are tired and ready to head home. It's a good day's ride and the CQ lads will no doubt do it a few more times before summer rolls in.
