Trail Report: 28th November 2004
Report by Peter Another gathering at the OVT with about 14 riders for the day’s event. First stop at the Nurse station at Wedge . Col says...can I touch it just let me touch it once! And the guys come hammering out of the Wedge to Cervantes section after a couple of kms of the nasty cap rock limestone - and no punctures!
...Col we did have a rest at Cervantes!
Brad...just picks himself up ...it wasn’t me who stacked it was the other guy... The boys stop for a breather on the way home. In then off in a blaze of dust.
HOG Award: Jed: next time tell your Dad when the bike cuts out the previous week so that he can fix it before him and you drive all the way to Lano and you ride 300 metres and the bike conks out and then neither of you get to ride and when you buy a bike that has sat for months and probably needs the carby cleaned out and probably needs a new plug and I could keep going on with this paragraph like the longest word in Wales (a train station I think) but you would get bored but just think about it a bit and remember next time you come for a ride bring a tow rope! Phil tells us how you can bog a 4WD ...but that’s another story ;) |
