Trail Report: 2nd January 2005

Venue: CQ Pines
Rider of the Day: JR - great work from the young bloke showing the boys how the jumps are done and riding well all day. MENTION:Nathan:Good effort all day and all round hard riding.
Stack of the Day: Phil - showed how to snap a five inch branch inhalf and came down hard. Other minor stacks by Jed, JR and deets.
Breakages & Injuries: STEVE525 - indicator and numberplate missing.
Marty Moose - snapped chain
Hog Award: Marty Moose - snapped chain coming down off a jump.

A call was made during the week for a ride at the pines on sunday am.By 8 o'clock 10 riders were geared and ready for a cooler but dusty days riding through the pines out to the quarry and then to a new area.

Deets brought along his son JR on a 05 KTM 85SX. New CQ starters - Leroy sporting a husky TE 400 and Steve525 also came out for a blast. Andy came out on a borrowed 250SX after a long absence from riding. No valves to break off here hey andy:)

First point of call was the quarry for some hill climb action, then onto the agility course behind. A ride through the pines on a larger loop followed before heading back to the cars for a refuel. Out near the tip the players hit some loops, weelie action and discovered a small jump for some photo snaps...

Robs hangtime

after a visit to a new area marty snapped his chain after a jump and took care of hog award 4x4.

JR picked up ROTD for his great effort all day and showing the boys "How its done" on the jumps. He kept on the pace and tackled everything that was in his path. Well done JR.

Heading back towards the cars phil hits a five inch branch and snaps it sending both bike and rider to the ground taking care of SOTD... making Simon H happy he didnt receive it again:)
