Great day down south
Awesome Nannup. Pete450, Martyn, KTMShaun, 2slow
Thanks Pete for leading an awesome ride, thanks Shaun for sweeping and thanks Martyn for making up the numbers and living the dream with me in the middle. The trails were damp, the temperature was mild and it was overcast, a perfect day for a ride. Nannup and Pete delivered as usual with a great variety of trails, hill climbs, down hills, single trail, pines, hilly pines with single trail and do it all over again several times. There are even some hippies still camped out down there. We covered nearly 90k's including the Erzberg like Logged Pines section we did on the camp out ride but this time we came up from the creek to the temporary road then cut through the logged section up to the top road, we all took a different line but eventually made it through I was the last one up slowing down progress a bit then I needed a breather at the top. We had a good pace going for most of the ride and it was very rare that all four of us weren't within sight of each other so the whole ride flowed really well. We were back at the cars just before 2pm because one of us was a bit soft and had to go home early (me, farther in laws 75th). A quick beer and everyone was on their way with a smile and not feeling too shattered. See you next ride. Dave. Great day yesterday,thanks Marty Dave and Shaun for coming down to Nannup.We rode heaps of single track some old some new in perfect conditions, plus the usual hills for a bit of fun which we all got up fairly easy,with so much traction on offer.We managed near 90 Kay's and still back before 2 which was a good effort,with just four of us the ride flowed really well.Already looking forward to the next one see tas out there pete Pete450 Awesome out at Nannup.
