Lesmurdie Ride
Wal picked up rider of the day for leading on a 150 km ride through tracks, trails, over mountains, across streams, and other places I am sure bikes are not suppose to go. Everyone had an off or two during the ride but no one got toooo hurt. Wal's mate Dave picked up stack of the day after going over the bars and performing an awsom flip or two over some very large rocks probably traveling at around 60 k's. He picked up his bike, gave it a kick and took off even faster as if nothing had happened.
 Andy wrestling the WR down the side of a difficult hill. Wal never turns back!! Marty's mate Andy also came along and lost it on a slippery corner and did a little damage to his knee. Wal came around the same corner and seeing Andy lying on the track, locked up his bike and took a spill over the bars.  525 Steve even tried pushing Col into the dam on a narrow, rocky goat trail but Col hang onto his bike a just missed out on a bath. Pete road sweep most of the day and commented on a few close calls. A top day had by all. |
