MicKal put in 120% into planning and leading this ride. What a cracker it was, early meet at the servo sorted out the “need” to ride from the “wanna “ ride. Some came from far and away, others rode their bike up from Perth, that’s how big a draw card this ride was.

From the parking spot we rode straight onto single trail, nice sandy to warm up the muscles then into gnarly rocks to wake up the brain. Newbie DR400 James was finding his feet initially and slightly intimidated by the pace, but he dug deep and got better and faster as the ride progressed. Absolutely an awsome effort and hope to see him back.

Another stand out was Shaun on the ktm690, man he rides that bike hard and nothing stops him.
Puddles, creeks and washouts were the deepest we’ve seen in a long time, getting wet was unavoidable and mandatory, as was getting filled in by JNR if you dropped your guard down. Which was unfortunate for Jaden getting filled in twice with mud from head to toe (x1 JNR, x1 Jack).

Cheers to MicKal and Mike/Tommy on sweep duties.
To does that did not come, you missed a good one !
Jack

Another top call and ride by mickkal. Those that did not ride missed out on an exciting wet ride with magic single trail mixed in.Glad I did not sleep in with my milo.Be cool to be keen enough to ride to the event then back again.Well done Jamie. Also be cool to throw a big 690 around single trails like Shaun.
Husq Mike

Thanks MicKal for another great ride leading the pack. Also thanks to the Sweepers Mike, Tommy and towards the end JNR.

Great conditions but sure “Slippery when wet” so great effort by everyone staying upright especially the two guys on the big girls, only a few tumbles in to the bush or on a few hills including myself but no one to my knowledge has sustained injuries other than a few sore muscles, which is always a win.

A few cold ones at the end and a good laugh about the day always sums up a great ride with great company.

Thanks Lads and see you on the next one.
Pas
