Todd’s Tough Mudder
Riders: KatoTodd, MickKal, Pounce, Tommy, Hooters, JNR, Jed77, Ash, DT200, Jack, x3 KTM Dudes Todd put on a great ride today in the hills of Nth Dandy, dishing up the best of single track and hill climbs he could find. Conditions were good and wet, maybe a bit too wet in the morning as we all struggled with fogged goggles dodging gotchya rocks. Leaving the servo with a quick squirt on the black top we hit the single trails and hills with immediate onset of arm pump. Todd set a cracking pace and didn’t slow down all day. Three new riders were adopted along the trail and we continued on to the hill climb valley, There we mucked around on the hill climbs desperately trying to find traction in muddy conditions. DT200 did a stellar job getting his beast to the top of the mountain and at no time was he going to give up, just kept trying different lines until he nailed it ! More single track, more hills and more gnarly trails were laid out by Todd until Jack and JNR’s bikes were getting low on fuel and returning back the cars was now an urgent priority. Whoo, great ride Todd . Thanks to Ash on sweep duties and welcome to the group three new KTM dudes. Rider of the day goes the DT200 for riding so well on his RMX250 that was a weapon in the 1990’s but definitely a different beast to ride today when matched up against the KTM’s.
