Sawyers Valley Power Line
7 players turned up for a smooth paced ride up the power lines lead by Grant. A new CQer who calls himself DazZ also came along on his XR400. The sun was shining however there was enough rain during the week to keep most of the dust at ground level.
 A SHORT REST AND A CHAT AT THE HALF WAY POINT.  ARE THESE GUYS MARTY MOOSE LOOK A LIKES?  GRANT RUNS THE KDX ON PEPSI!! THERE'S NO SUGAR IN THAT HE SAYS. Along the way the boys found a nice little water crossing and decided to have a bit of fun and get wet. Rob put a good display on and tried the crossing on the deep side. He fell into a hole and if not for giving the big 500 a handful would have come down. A few of the guys got a bit of wheelie action happening with DazZ getting a little untidy at one stage.  DazZ ON THE MIGHTY 400.  ROB DOING IT EASY ON THE SHALLOW SIDE OF THE CROSSING.  CLIFF THINKS THE DRZ IS A SUBMARINE.  THE RIDER OF THE DAY, BLEEDER.  GRANT TAKES IT EASY. HE HAS SEEN ANOTHER KDX GO BELLY UP BEFORE ON THIS CROSSING. A little further on the boys tried thier hand at some jump practice. Some made it look easy. Cliff and DazZ thought they would try landing a little differently.  I DON'T THINK THE CRUSTY DEMONS WILL BE GIVING HIM A CALL JUST YET.  "IF I PUT ONE FOOT DOWN WHEN I LAND WILL I STILL FALL OFF?"  JOHN525 ENJOYED A BIT OF ACTION THROUGHOUT THE DAY.  IS THAT THE RIDER OF THE DAY SHOWING OFF AGAIN.  I THINK BLEEDER MUST BE MAKING FUN OF COL BY THE LOOK ON HIS FACE. Back at the cars the boys said they really enjoyed the ride. They liked the technical stuff and the rutted out hill climbs. Bleeder picked up ROTD for crossing the bike side ways at a fair speed and going bush without meaning to and not coming down. Well done mate. Sorry about the pics boys. A heap of them didn't turn out. Note to self - Buy a new camera. |
