Pines
Today started at 6.00am on the dot.3 players graced the pines car park John(race tech)525, Andy(CRASH)Aitkin and Marty (the MOOSE) MOOSE. We headed off to the Quary via the normal route Andy and I stopped at the main road left hander after the tight pines section to find no John. After a bit of back tracking we found him. He had been over the bars, the culprit a piece of fencing wire in the front wheel locking it solid. We have ridden this section many times I have never seen wire there before. I think all concerned were hoping this was not the tone for the day.
After a bit of dusty pines work we arrived at the Quarry and did a couple of hills then the obstacle course.Andy and I lost John a bit so we returned to find him and found Rob and Tim. We rode together for a bit except Andy he crashed four times and picks up STACKS of the day :). Andy, John and I had to be home early so we bailed from the red bike crew and left them with acid gloves. On the way home CRASH I mean Andy fell again rolling his ankle and was left to do a bit of road work for the day.John and Marty rode faster than Steffan Merriman on the way back to the cars of course. Once we arrived I was offered a ride on gods bike (Andys YZ cam equipped 03 WR250F) What a hoot! No one should ride wr250f's they are so good. Anyway we did a brisk trip over to the raceway and back. I rode the 525, John rode the WR for a bit. I said the 525 had to much power he said the WR didn't have enough funny that.Once back at the cars we talked about how great we were and how Andy crashes all the time and should give his bike to me and then drove home by 9am.A "nice" day apart from Andy's aerobatics.
