Metro Road
The morning started off quite fresh for a summers day although it did warm up by mid morning. The tracks were dusty and as there was only a small group the dust wasn't excessive. Clive picked up ROTD for draggnig the big TTR 600 around a large 65 K loop and doing it well. He also powered up the big hill climb for his first time in one go and made it look easy.
Pete picked up SOTD for flipping the WR about third the way up the hill climb. Pete rode sweep cautiosly still trying to get his confidence back to give it heaps after his crash at Metros 6 months ago. Orry and Col just had a good time riding the goat trails at a decent speed and attacking the many obstacles scattered along the trails. Metro in the winter is sweeeeet but its still not bad in the summer either. The ride was finished off with a BBQ on Cols new "Crusty Quinns" trailer Barby. Clive, Orry and Pete having a break somewhere out on the trail. |
