Colin's son Mik came for his first ride in a long time. Mik had been out on plenty of CQ rides way back when not a lot of reports were written and had never made it on the board. He had also ridden quiet a few enduros.

Peter, Roley, KXSteve and Colin all came along for this unofficial ride up to the Pines and knocked up around 70 k's. The ride went from the old tip out as far as Parrot Quarry and a big loop back to the cars. Col picked up a nice piece of fencing wire that took a few minutes to cut out and Mik had a good tumble down a 3 meter ridge in the old sand quarries.

It was a nice cool ride and not too dusty however I don't think the Pines is going to take too long to turn into a dust bowl.
